Literary Demises

Well, lost another great one, Hunter S. Thompson! People who have lots of stories to tell, eventually convey the most important story of them all. Hemingway, Hunter, John Kennedy Toole, the list goes on. I suppose, there is dignity in these actions of ultimate control.

It was quite a few years ago, browsing through an old Rolling Stones magazine in a barber shop, started reading the excerpts of “The Proud Highway”, and could not stop till I exhausted the article. After the haircut, that day, could not wait to get the book from the nearby barnes & nobles. Not sure I could handle Hunter as a neighbor, but immensely enjoyed his writing style and writings.

Rest In Peace, Mr. Thompson!
